Our little dancer

Emjae is so much fun. She just seems to love to dance. We will be watching a movie and as soon as the credits start rolling and the music starts playing it does not matter what she is doing, she will start dancing. She could be almost asleep laying down with one of us and she will get off the couch and start, she can be in her room grabbing a toy and she will run back out and start, or she can just be sitting down on her little couch and then get up and start.

The doctor says.... part 2

Well I went and got another ultrasound today like the doctor ordered and the baby's head is down. This is a very good thing. I also got verification that I am having a Julie and not a Samuel. Oh also that shes going to have a big nose like her dad :)
At my doctors appt. the doctor gave me the okay to have the baby whenever I want now. If only it worked like that. I was informed though that he would be gone on the 10th and 11th camping and I said ok that weekend is suppose to be off limits anyways because my youngest brother is having his farewell on the 12th.
My mom says I can have her on the 13th or later so she can come help with Emjae. Im still hoping for sometime next week :)

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day to all you Dads out there!!
My family came up for the Manti Pagent this last weekend and so we did a day early celebration for Fathers Day. Amy and Alex made Dad a blackberry pie, his favorite, and gave James a fishing pole.
Alex is a huge outdoor type of guy. He loves fishing and shooting, so after the BBQ and after mom and dad left the 2 guys went fishing. This was James 2nd time fishing and well the first time they just looked at the water. This time James actually caught some. He tells me he was so excited. They cast their lines and then all of a sudden james line started moving. Alex told him he had a fish, but James didn't believe him until he started to reel it in.

Overall both of them caught 8 fish. They let 3 go though because they were to small.

Of course Sunday was actually Fathers Day so I made James breakfast in bed, and that was only because I had Amy still here and she helped with Emjae. I also made Tacos for dinner for Alex and Banana Cheese Cake for dessert for James.
I am glad that we have days to remember those special people in our lives such as Father's day and Mother's day. I am truely grateful for my dad and all that he has done in my life. I am also truely grateful for my husband and for the wonderful father that he is to Emjae. I know that it will only get better with time as our new arrival comes and later down the line, much later then this last one, as more children join our family.

So the doctor says.....

I am going to have to get an ultrasound next week. I went in for my 35 week appt and the doctor wasn't quiet sure how the baby was situated inside me. He said thats a wierd feeling butt, as he was feeling up by my ribs. So he thinks it may be a head up there. If this is the case then I will be getting induced around 38 1/2 weeks. They will induce me, give me an epidural and then 2 doctors will come and try to manipulate the baby to a head down position. The epidural will be to help with the pain of them doing this. And if that does not work then I will be seeing the surgeon to get a c-section.
Other than that news the doctor said I am dialated to a 1 and 50% effaced (however you spell it). So hopefully with there being a full moon on the 7th of July, maybe they wont have to schedule me and I will just go into labor.
But, wait I'm not done with all my news. James was promoted to a Manager position!!! YEAH!!!! Congratulations to my hard working husband. He has been doing such a great job at his work and the people there are noticing it. I love you James!!!

Happy Birthday James

Happy Birthday James!!! My husband is turning into an old man, but I love him to death and can't see my life with out him. Instead of a cake I made chocolate chip cookies and spelled out happy birthday james. I thought it was cute and he liked it. I also got him a charcoal grill, since he has not stopped talking about wanting a grill and how charcoal is so much better than gas. We were going to use it for our teryiaki chicken, but James decided he wanted to just cook the food inside. So I cooked his birthday meal and Erik did the dishes. All in all it was just a small nice relaxed birthday.
